Creative work from yourstru.ly out of SF. “The Charm” is a restless rumbler of a charge to the observations of love lost and kept from a distance. This video uses a middle school drumline to give it that extra DIY flair. Things pick up at 1:45. This song only need two things: voice and beat.

This cannot go unposted. It all gets pretty crazy, literally, at the end, but the opening scene in the classroom gets a lot out of the young actors. She is all in. And the sounds are a wild mix of tribal world pop and melodic 80s blips which is to be expected from theater kids who get a chance to make music. tUnE-YaRdS is playing the crocodile this month. During the last night of the historic Neptune cinema in the University District Grand Hallway front-man and Neptune employee took his guitar in to the theater and instituted a sort of Last Supper, a Last Performance. The words hang as hopeful as Christ’s, “What a gift to be born” and “I’m playing music with my old friends.”
